7.0-magnitude Earthquake rocked Russia’s far eastern Kamchatka

US Geological Survey reported a strong 7.0-magnitude earthquake which struck eastern Russia. As per USGC the quake occurred at 0325 GMT at a depth of 160 kilometres, about 95 kilometres northeast of the Russian town of Yelizovo. The National and Pacific Tsunami Warning Centers said there was no risk it had caused a tsunami and there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
