DMK says deal with DMDK almost sealed, Kalanithi Maran pitches in

In a major boost to DMK-DMDK alliance talks, now Kalanidhi Maran pitches in to seal the deal. According to the media reports, a source in the Dravidian party has that the deal has been “almost finalized” and that an announcement will be made soon. The source was quoted in the report as saying, 'They had asked for 90 seats, but we have almost agreed on 54-59 seats. We hope that things will be finalized in a day or two.' Though the DMK appears confident about the DMDK joining, sources in the DMDK did not confirm the same.
