Security has been stepped up in many towns in Haryana as a 72-hour deadline issued by Jats for their reservation demand is coming to an end. On Monday, Jat leaders had threatened to resume their agitation for quotas with their president declaring The state government has time till March 17. Jats are demanding immediate grant of 10 per cent reservation quota in government jobs and educational institutions, withdrawal of criminal cases registered against them during last month’s agitation and action against BJP MP Raj Kumar Saini for his alleged anti-Jat remarks.
