In a rare case, a flying snake was spotted in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore district. The villagers were scared by the sight of the reptile and immediately called snake rescuers to trap the reptile which was seen crawling and jumping. The species is mostly found in Sri Lanka and other zones having same climatic conditions. The reptile was later handed over to forest department.
