Bhiwandi fire tragedy: Massive fire in four-storey building, 150 trapped

A massive fire broke out on Tuesday morning at a garment factory in Bhiwandi city of Thane district in Maharashtra. However, few reports are stating that it is a residential building. According to initial reports, over 150 people are feared to be trapped inside the 4 story building. 8 fire-tenders are at the spot trying to douse the flames. The authorities have sought help from Mumbai fire department too to rescue operation. The rescue operation is under-way. More details are awaited.
