Jayalalithaa files nomination from RK Nagar with pomp & show

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa filed her nomination this afternoon from R. K. Nagar constituency. The AIADMK chief arrived at the Tondiarpet zonal office of the Chennai Corporation at 12.21pm and filed the nomination at 12.23pm. Hundreds of AIADMK cadres waited for Jayalalithaa along the roads since morning. As a result of this, Rajaji Salai, Mannarsamy Koil Street, Suryanarana Chetty Street and Tiruvottiyur High Road faced traffic snarls.
