Nirankari sect has made wife of deceased Baba Hardev Singh, Savinder Kaur, the head of the community. Kaur will be the first woman and fifth in line to head the sect. Earliar there were speculations that her daughter daughter Sudeeskha would be made the next Guru. Mata Savinder, who hails from UP’s Farooqabad, was married to Hardev Singh in 1975. The last rites of Baba Hardev Singh will be performed at Nigam Bodh Crematorium at 12:00 pm today.
