Siddhivinayak temple deposits 44 kilo gold in PM's gold monetisation scheme

The Siddhivinayak temple of Mumbai deposited a total of 44kg of gold in the Prime Minister's ambitious gold monetisation scheme. Temple's current gold reserve stands at a staggering 171kg. It already has 10 kg of this deposited with the State Bank of India in exchange of an annual interest of 1 per cent.
