AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa took oath to become Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister for the sixth time today. Jayalalithaa has ordered implementation of five schemes on her first day of assuming office. TASMAC shops to be open at 12 noon from 10 pm. 100 units of free power from today. The new Chief Minister took the first step towards fulfilling her electoral promise of phased prohibition in the State. After taking over, she has announced that 500 TASMAC shops will be closed.
