UP's new DGP warns of action against cow vigilantes | Oneindia news

Sulkhan Singh newly-appointed Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttar Pradesh, warned of taking strict action against cow vigilantes in the name of cow protection. He said that the state police will not disclose the complainant's details if he or she informs about any such activity. Commenting upon the anti-romeo squads, the DGP said that police personnel will be deployed in plain clothes so as to keep a 'watch' on the activities of people in public places.
