After joining Royal Challengers Bangalore, West Indian batsman Chris Gayle got an opportunity to stay in its owner Vijay Mallya's beachfront mansion in Goa. He spent five days in Mallya's mansion and was literally spell bounded. He has mentioned his experience in his autobiography "Six Machine: I Don't Like Cricket...I Love It".
