Cuba Gooding Sr. found dead in car, aged 72

Soul singer Cuba Gooding Sr, the father of Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr, was found dead in his car on Thursday. He was 72.
A police spokesman said there was “no indication of foul play or homicide” and the case had been passed to the coroner. Anonymous sources told the LA Times that drug paraphernalia and alcohol containers were found in the car. The singer was a member of The Main Ingredient and also enjoyed a solo career with Motown Records, with hits including ‘Everybody Plays the Fool’ and ‘Just Don’t Want to be Lonely’.
