अज़ान विवाद में फंसे सोनू निगम ने फतवा जारी होने के बाद अपनी नाराजगी जाहिर करते हुए सिर मुंडवा लिया है. इस मुद्दे पर मचे बवाल पर सफाई देने के लिए सोनू निगम ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस बुलाई थी और उसी दौरान उन्होंने सिर मुंडवा कर सभी को चौका दिया. सोनू के सिर मुंडवाने के बाद कवि और आप नेता डॉ. कुमार विश्वास ने ट्वीट कर बॉलीवुड सिंगर की तारीफ की है. डा. कुमार विश्वास ने सोनू के लिए ट्वीट कर कहा, ‘आपके सच्चे दिल का कोई “बाल” भी बांका नहीं कर सकता दोस्त सोनू निगम ख़ुद की ज़ुल्फ़ें गिरा कर नफ़रत का मुडंन करा ही दिया.’ सोनू ने ट्वीट का जवाब देते कहा है, ‘आपको प्यार भाई…’
