Jennifer Lopez has been a serial dater since her split from Marc Anthony, most notably with backup dancer Casper Smart.

But her new relationship with former baseball star Alex Rodriquez may be a true home run already.

According to the New York Post's Page Six, "its a way more serious relationship than most people think."

J-Lo fans were a little skeptical because she seemed to be connecting with younger men, but it seems A-Rod has been a true all star in the two months they've been together.

Page Six reports that they recently stepped out for dinner in Miami where he "was being a gentleman. He wanted to walk out in front of her on the way out to protect her."

A-Rod might be retired from the majors, but when it comes to romance he still knows how to hit it out of the park.
