Tamil Nadu assembly had its share of light moment when when former Chennai Mayor and Opposition DMK MLA Ma. Subramanian accidentally addressed the Speaker as 'Mayor in his speech'. While referring to his speech Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa jokingly said -'going by the speech of Mr Subramanain, I myself had doubts whether we are seated in Tamil Nadu Assembly or in Chennai Corporation'. This triggered peels of laughter in the assembly.
