Sasikala, OPS factions may announce merger, meeting held in Chennai. Chennai's midnight drama saw more than 20 ministers holding an emergency meeting, which was held at electricity minister P Thangamani's official residence. Hinting of a possible merger between the two factions of OPS and Sasikala, finance minister D Jayakumar further strengthened the speculations stating that AIADMK welcomed such a decision. He went on to add that the both factions should unite for getting back to party's "two leaves" symbol.
