An engaged couple was removed from a United Airlines flight Saturday while traveling to Costa Rica for their wedding. Michael Hohl and fiancée Amber Maxwell claimed they were denied payment for upgraded seating after a passenger was sleeping in their assigned seats. "We thought not a big deal, it's not like we are trying to jump up into a first-class seat. We were simply in an economy row a few rows above our economy seat." -- Michael Hohl to KHOU A statement from United Airlines said the couple was compensated with a discounted hotel rate for the night and rebooked on a flight the next day.
