Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner officially filed for divorce

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner officially filed for divorce on Thursday, two years after they announced they were separating. Garner and Affleck filed the divorce papers in the Los Angeles County Superior Court without the aid of lawyers. The actors are seeking joint custody of their three children who are all under the age 11. The former couple announced their separation in June 2015, although People magazine reported that the divorce was called off in March 2017. While they are no longer together, Affleck and Garner remain amicable and are both committed to co-parenting their kids.
