A man was reportedly approached by U.S. Secret Service agents in New York City on Wednesday for allegedly acting suspicious around the area where former first daughter Malia Obama reports for her internship.
According to the Daily Mail, the man, who wore a Rastafarian cap and carried a walking stick, was noticed “pretending to be blind…[and] watching the teen from across the street.”
He was reportedly approached by agents, questioned for almost an hour, photographed, and required to go elsewhere.
Malia is in New York interning at the company of influential producer Harvey Weinstein after which she is expected to begin college at Harvard University, notes the Hollywood Reporter.
People notes that her parents, former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle, meanwhile, were recently spotted vacationing in French Polynesia.
