California’s drought is officially over. Governor Jerry Brown announced the end of the historic drought that forced residents to cut back on water usage since 2014. Photographer Justin Sullivan returned to locations he shot at the peak of the drought to capture the results of California’s wettest winter on record. Months of rain contributed to California’s restored landscapes. Governor Brown warned that another drought could be imminent, “Conservation must remain a way of life.”
