Fight Life TV is proud to present 'Behind The Fighter', the first in a series of documentaries looking at some of the UK's best combat sport athletes.

Delving into the personal lives of those who dedicate everything to become the best they can be, the first episode features Muay Thai champion, father and business man, Panicos Superpetch.

After starting from the bottom, Panicos fought his way to the top and was soon recognised as a Muay Thai legend. In this documentary, Panicos reveals how he got there – the good, the bad, his inspiration and motivation.

Following his hectic lifestyle and his dedication to his family, fighters and his own career, Panicos has tirelessly worked to become the fighter he is today, conquering any walls that stood in his way.

“What makes me hungry is the fact that I can lose, because it means that I can keep training, I can keep getting better. I’ve got the buzz for the fighting game again.”

Going from a hobby that he started as a teenager in Thailand he managed to turn Muay Thai into a career. Having competed in an astounding 42 fights, Panicos has walked away victorious 37 times. He is one of the most respected and renowned fighters in the Muay Thai community that has thrived in the sport, becoming a top fighter that dominates the ring.

At one point he held over a 20 winning streak record and yet it was the loss that broke the record that got the buzz for the fight back. The thought of losing of being able to learn from his loss meant that he had not conquered the sport and his passion for fighting still burns bright.

While he continues to enter fights he has developed his career and now trains aspiring fighters including rising Muay Thai athlete Daniel Butler. Panicos offers sessions at All Powers Gym one which he owns.

Although life for Panicos seems steady, that was not always the case, Panicos worked tirelessly and sacrificed a lot to get to where he is now. One of the biggest sacrifices that he has to endure is giving up time with his wife and daughter.

In the documentary he explains the hardships that comes with a fighting career and describes that if he didn’t have the support of his family that he would not be in the position he is in now.

In an honest and intuitive documentary, Panicos lays out his life, what he experienced growing up, building a career and starting a family.
He shares his success, his failures, his support and what he has learned over the years.

While the future for Panicos is undecided as of yet there is one thing that he knows, the flame and passion for Muay Thai still thrives and as long as this continues so does his input into the Muay Thai community.
