Wellington Teen Places Camera at Water's Edge to See What Photos People Will Take

Wellington teenager Caleb Williams was inspired by other artists to conduct a photography experiment at Wellington Harbour on April 8, leaving a disposable camera out for anyone to take a snap. The 17-year-old filmed the responses, and when he later retrieved the camera, discovered how diverse people’s perspectives can be.
“I left the camera in a box labelled ‘Take a Picture’ and what followed was awesome,” Williams told Storyful. “When people get a camera, everyone takes different stuff – everyone has a different perspective on the world, so I was inspired by similar projects and thought this is a cool way to show that.” Credit: C J W via Storyful
