GST bill passed was passed in the Lok Sabha as India created history when the Lok Sabha cleared all the four bills for the launch of the much-awaited Goods and Services Tax (GST), the country’s biggest tax reform since Independence. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that with the Lok Sabha having approved all 4 laws that the Centre is supposed to legislate through Parliament, he thinks a significant step forward has been taken. He added that they are virtually seeing history in the making because they are now going to be transforming into a new system of indirect taxation.
