Tamagotchis make a comeback 20 years later

90s kids rejoice—Tamagotchis are coming back 20 years after their original release. Toy company Bandai Namco re-released six of the original virtual pet keychains for nostalgic fans to feed and care for. The keychains come in six colorful designs, although the new versions are half the size of the original. The new version will be sold in stores in Japan, The original Tamagotchis were released in 1996 in Japan and gained widespread popularity in the U.S. and Europe in 1997.
