On April 7, 2017, Tupac Shakur was finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. With lyrics calling out racism, police brutality, poverty, and oppression, Tupac managed to hold the tittles of rapper, poet, record producer, actor, and activist by the age of 25. The East Harlem-born rapper was named after the South American Revolutionary Túpac Amaru by his mother, a former member of the Black Panther Party.
