The Beatles to release 50th anniversary edition of ‘Sgt. Pepper’s’

The Beatles have exciting news for the 50th anniversary of ’Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.’ This spring, the Fab Four are releasing multiple special edition packages of their revolutionary album. On April 22, a limited edition vinyl single of ’Strawberry Fields Forever’ and ‘Penny Lane’ will be released. Deluxe CD and vinyl editions will be sold on May 26, featuring new audio mixes of the album. The last package will be a six-disc super deluxe edition including a stereo mix, original mono mix, additional session recordings, DVDs, and a documentary film of the making of the album. The 'Sgt. Pepper’s' album was originally released June 1, 1967 to commercial and critical success and won a Grammy for Album of the Year.
