The destroyer with guided missiles USS Ross and USS Porter launches Tomahawk missiles to Syria. The attack was conducted using Tomahawk ground attack missiles (TLAMs) launched from the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. A total of 59 TLAMs were destined for aircraft, oil and logistics warehouses, ammunition bins, air defense systems and radars. As always, the US took extraordinary measures to avoid civilian casualties and comply with the Law on Armed Conflict. All precautionary measures have been taken to carry out this strike with minimal risk to the personnel at the aerodrome.
