A beautiful video has emerged of molten lava flowing down the slope of the Etna volcano in Sicily, Italy.

The footage, shot on Thursday, shows the molten rock making its way down the slope as the volcano is still erupting.

"This is the latest of many lava flows generated from the crater in March this lava flow has dropped down for kilometers reaching an altitude of 2200 meters," the filmer wrote online.
