Is Richard Simmons Returning To The Spotlight?

It’s been over three years since Richard Simmons taught his final exercise class, exited his famous studio “Slimmons” and slipped out of public sight.
But according to License Global, it seems a new deal signed by Richard may indicate a return for the former fitness guru.
Prominent Brand + Talent announced that it has secured the exclusive worldwide rights to represent Simmons’ for merchandising, licensing, and endorsements.
The report goes on to say that new products are being designed to build upon Richard’s already vast array of merchandise for retailers like Walmart and QVC.
Prominent Brand + Talent co-founder is also Richard’s longtime manager Michael Catalano, so he is in familiar territory and could be getting back in the game. In an interview with the New York Times, Catalano hinted at the possibility that Simmons might promote the products.
“It is possible,” he said. “But it is yet to be determined.”
It would be the first time the world has seen the flamboyant fitness instructor since his final class in February of 2014.
