Mel B was granted a restraining order on Monday from her estranged husband, who she said mentally and emotionally abused her. The former Spice Girls member obtained a restraining order against Stephen Belafonte, who she has been married to since 2007. Mel B, whose real name is Melanie Brown, said that Belafonte would punch her with closed fists and give her significant cuts to her face. She also claims that Belafonte would force the singer to have sex with him and other women while he recorded it on video. On top of the abuse, Belafonte allegedly got their nanny pregnant and wanted her to live with the couple. Brown has three daughters, including one with Belafonte, who are all protected by the restraining order.
