Forecasters have warned that the Fitzroy River in Rockhampton was expected to peak at nine metres on Thursday, April 6, but would not go above the level reached during flooding in 2011.The Queensland Ambulance service stated they would deploy paramedics and medical dispatchers to the city ahead of the predicted floods.In a statement, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk added work was underway to return power to 19,600 electricity customers who had lost supply during the cyclone.
