Road Bubbles and Buckles Underfoot After Flooding

Following a deluge after ex-Tropical Cyclone Debbie, the flooded Albert and Logan Rivers caused chaos in the Logan area, south of Brisbane.City mayor Luke Smith declared a state of disaster, with raw sewage entering waterways and many roads closed.According to the Albert and Logan News, 240 homes were flooded throughout the region.This video shows a road at Cedar Vale buckling and bouncing under the pressure of an adult male’s footsteps.“Water has gone down but there is mud everywhere and most roads out of Jimboomba are still closed,” uploader Amanda Ranger told Storyful.
