An elevated section of Interstate 85 in Atlanta collapsed after a large fire erupted under the busy 12-lane highway on Thursday evening, March 30. This video of the fire was filmed by John Duisberg, who said he could feel the heat as he passed.Atlanta Fire Rescue closed all the lanes of the I-85 near Piedmont Road shortly after the fire broke out, sending clouds of black smoke into the sky above Atlanta. The fire caused chaos for Atlanta commuters with traffic backed for miles.
