Drunk people fails: crazy Chinese man stabs man for looking him in the eye in restaurant

DALIAN, CHINA — Remember when your parents told you not to stare at strangers? Well, this is why.
According to China’s Kanka News, a 58-year-old man surnamed Xu was standing in a queue of customers at a crowded restaurant in Liaoning province when he claims a man in the same line looked at him in the eye. This annoyed Xu so much that he decided to pull out two long knives from his messanger bag to teach the guy a lesson. Xu stabbed the customer four times in quick succession. Thankfully, the customer managed to escape with his life.
Dalian police quickly arrived at the scene, and tried persuading Xu to put down the knives. When he refused, they took him down with pepper spray and batons. Xu, who had previously served jail time, later told the police that he drank too much right before the incident occurred and simply found the victim annoying because he looked at him in the eye.
Xu is in custody on crimes of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble.” The cops say they will investigate further, including carrying out a thorough check of Xu’s history of mental illness.
