A supporter of President Donald Trump refused food from a group protesting the administration’s refugee policies in New York City on Tuesday, March 28.The Working Families Party posted video of the man, carrying a Trump-Pence sign and wearing a Trump hat, accusing the group of being racists against Russia. He also says the Democrats want to go to war with Russia.“I’m offering you food; I can’t be racist,” the woman with the plate of food says to the man in the video.He accuses the woman of hating Russia, which she denies, and then tells her to say “peace with Putin.” The woman says “peace with everyone” and then says peace with refugees, Muslims and Russians.The man never accepts the plate of food in the video.The video was taken during the City of Refuge 24-hour protest at Trinity Church. The action was against Trump’s policies on not accepting refugees, including from war-torn Syria. The group rallied at the Trump Building on Wall Street before marching to the church. A similar march was due to take place on Wednesday.The party also posted an earlier video showing the same Trump supporter attempting to yell over the protesters chanting, “no hate, no fear, refugees are welcome here.”
