This Triple Amputee War Vet’s Love For Music Helped Save His Life
  • 7 years ago
While serving in Afghanistan in 2010, Marine Corporal Juan Dominquez lost both legs and his right arm in an explosion. He may have lost 3 limbs, but it hasn't stopped him from pursuing his dreams.

We last saw Corporal Dominguez at his wedding to his high school sweetheart Alexis; together they share a love and romance like no other.

Now 4 years later, we meet with Juan again, as he continues to show how love and passion can overcome any obstacles.

Prior to joining the army, Juan had dreams of making music, but when he lost an arm it was doubtful that he could continue pursuing his music. Juan's passion for music led him to dedicate his life to music and now this triple amputee war veteran continues playing the drums, guitar, piano, bass, and trumpet.

Juan has appeared on stage with Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, and Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins. He has also performed at events such as Fueled by the Fallen, which was held in his honor.

Juan is now working on original music and pursuing his dreams. Thanks to Juan we can all be inspired to follow our dreams and live our lives to the fullest.
