Residents of Airlie Beach and surrounding communities took shelter as category four Tropical Cyclone Debbie struck northern Queensland, tossing trees and forcing evacuations in some parts of the state.Brandy Creek, inland of Airlie Beach, was lashed by wild wind and rain on March 28 as the eye of the cyclone began to track over the region.
