Shirish Kunder apologizes after being charged over ‘derogatory’ remarks on Yogi Adityanath 2

Film director Shirish Kunder landed himself in trouble on Friday for allegedly calling the new CM of Uttar Pradesh a ‘goon’.
An FIR has been filed against the director for his series of tweets which he later deleted. He wrote “Hoping a goon will stop rioting once he's allowed to rule is like expecting a rapist to stop raping once he's allowed to rape.”
He further added, "Going by the logic of making a goon as CM so that he behaves, Dawood can be CBI director. And Mallya - RBI Governor."
After these tweets an FIR has been lodged against Shirish in Lucknow's Hazratganj.
However the film maker has now apologized on Twitter by saying, “I unconditionally apologise. I never meant to hurt anyones feelings or sentiment.”
Well, celebrities need to be more careful before they tweet something on social media. Don’t you think?
