NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said that New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton met with the former Browns' quarterback during Super Bowl week about a possible return. Rapoport would go on to say that there's "legitimate interest" in Manziel and that he wouldn't be surprised if he was playing on the gridiron in 2017. He also points out that the Saints would be a good match due to their need for a backup, which would allow Manziel to learn from Super Bowl champion Drew Brees.
