Breast implants cause rare form of cancer

The Food and Drug Administration reported a rare form of cancer caused by breast implants. The cancer is called anapestic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) and is associated with silicone and saline breast implants. The FDA received a total of 359 reports of ALCL caused by the implants, including reports of nine deaths. The administration stated that the cancer can be easily treated if caught early enough.
