Former Jets QB Geno Smith agrees to deal with Giants
  • 7 years ago
The New York Giants are expected to sign former Jets quarterback Geno Smith on Monday if he passes a physical over the weekend. Smith, 26, tore his ACL midway through the season last year after Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was benched by coach Todd Bowles. Smith was a second-round draft choice by the Jets in 2013. He is best remembered for a high-profile locker room incident, in which teammate IK Enemkpali broke his jaw with a punch during training camp.
