Trump travel ban put on hold by federal judge

President Donald Trump's new travel ban will not take effect after a federal judge in Hawaii blocked it hours before it was set to go into effect. Travelers from six Muslim-majority countries will now be able to travel to the U.S. The ruling comes after a revision was made by the Trump administration to the original version that had Iraq on the banned countries list and didn't allow those with visas or green cards. The Justice Department argued that the new order avoids the legal problems that stopped enforcement of the president's original one.
