Firefighters on Sunday rescued a three-year-old boy and a five-year-old girl, who got stuck in a revolving door while playing at a hotel in Danfeng County, Shangluo City, northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

The boy's ankle got stuck between the door wing and the bottom rail of the rounded door, trapping him and the girl inside. The girl bravely calmed and took care of the little boy while onlookers, including her mother encouraged the interaction.

When the firefighters arrived at the hotel, they immediately used a handheld block saw to break down the glass and carried the girl out first.

Firefighters then put a safety helmet and a blanket over the boy to protect him from sparks when firefighters sawed off parts of the door frame.

The boy was finally freed after half an hour's effort and was sent to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The boy did not sustain serious injuries.
