Snoop Dogg Parodies Donald Trump In New Music Video
  • 7 years ago
Snoop Dogg is seriously clowning around in his latest release.

The rap icon’s latest music video for his remix of BadBadNotGood’s “Lavender” dropped on YouTube recently and features a commercial for Snoop Loops, Michael Rapaport, and an orange-faced clown named Ronald Klump. The video is more or less a comedic look at current events, but there are some very poignant moments that occur throughout.

According to Billboard News, the idea for the video came to director YouTube star Jesse Wellens during a smoking session at a videogame event they were working together last October, which is where we assume most of these ideas were conceived.

However, the video isn’t just about clowns. Jesse Wellens was inspired to make the politicized video because of the news. He tells Billboard, “It’s clownery — it’s ridiculous what’s happening.”

Later in the video, a scene depicts Snoop Dogg assassinating Ronald Klump with a clown gun that read, “Bang!”

Snoop told Billboard, “Nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this fucking clown as a president.”

We hear you Snoop.
