Director Jason Pollock's documentary 'Stranger Fruit' features new footage of Mike Brown's controversial interaction with convenience store employees. Back in 2014, Brown was shot and killed by officer Darren Wilson, after allegledy robbing a convenience store. Pollock obtained new footage that he claims shows Brown was making a transaction with the conveince store staff. They destroyed Michael’s character with the tape, and they didn’t show us what actually happened. Mr. Pollock told the New York Times. The documentary, which premiered at the South by Southwest festival over the weekend, also explored the Ferguson police force's actions after Brown's murder.
