McCain On Trump-Russia Ties: 'Lot More Shoes To Drop'

Senate John McCain commented during a CNN interview that there are "a lot more shoes to drop" on the alleged Trump-Russia ties.
During an interview with CNN’s 'State of the Union' on Sunday, Arizona Senator John McCain said there are a "lot more shoes to drop" on the alleged President Trump-Russia ties.
McCain noted, “There’s a lot of aspects of this whole relationship with Russia and Vladimir Putin that requires further scrutiny, and so far I don’t think the American people have gotten all the answers. In fact, I think there’s a lot more shoes to drop from this centipede.”
He added, "...there continues to surface communications between not just General Flynn but other...(Trump) associates..."
Meanwhile, in the wake of continued criticism on the issue, President Trump recently lashed out at top Democrats over their past interactions with Russian officials.
On March 3, he tweeted a photo of Senator Chuck Schumer and Russian President Putin eating donuts with the message, “We should start an immediate investigation into @SenSchumer and his ties to Russia and Putin. A total hypocrite!”
A few hours later, Trump tweeted a link to a Politico article featuring a photo of Nancy Pelosi meeting with Russian officials.
The Democratic lawmakers quickly responded, with Schumer tweeting back, “Happily talk re: my contact w Mr. Putin & his associates, took place in '03 in full view of press & public under oath. Would you &your team?”
Pelosi responded by writing, “@realDonaldTrump doesn't know difference between official mtg photographed by press & closed secret mtg his AG lied about under oath.”
These exchanges occurred amid controversy surrounding Attorney General Jeff Sessions for not telling Congress he had reportedly met with the Russian ambassador twice.
