Donald Trump Jr. misses the intensity of the election

Donald Trump Jr. spoke at the Dallas County Republican Party's Reagan Day Dinner on Saturday, voicing his nostalgia for the campaign trail. "I don't miss the politics, I promise. I want nothing to do with the politics, but I miss the intensity of [the campaign trail]," he said about his father's win to office. Trump Jr. also praised his father's first 50 days in office, noting all of the president's accomplishments thus far. The younger Trump also thanked Texas Republicans, who he credits for raising more money than in New York and California combined. Trump's once-rival, Sen. Ted Cruz, also spoke at the event about his "optimism" about Trump administration.
