After two official tests in Malaysia and Australia and a day of private testing in Jerez, the Repsol Honda riders continued their preparations at the scene of the opening Grand Prix of the season: Losail Circuit. Dani Pedrosa and Marc Márquez finished in 8th and 12th, respectively, the first of a three-day test that will conclude on Sunday night, a fortnight before the start of 2017 World Championship. In Qatar, Repsol Honda riders continued with the development of the Honda RC213V and worked on setups, electronics and aerodynamics.

Losail’s 1.06km straight –the longest of the three circuits where official tests are held–, its combination of fast corners and the fact that it is contested at night, make it a good preparation point for the season curtain raiser.
