FBI’s Comey: ‘You’re stuck with me for another 6½ years’
  • 7 years ago
FBI Director James Comey isn't going anywhere, anytime soon. “You’re stuck with me for another 6½ years,” Comey said, delivering a speech at a Boston College conference on cybersecurity. Comey was appointed to a 10-year term as FBI director by former President Barack Obama. While Americans have a reasonable expectation of privacy in their everyday lives, Mr. Comey noted the government’s authority to “invade our private spaces” with the court approval. “There is no such thing as absolute privacy in America,” Comey said, because “there is no place in America outside of judicial reach.”
