Overconsumption of bacon and soda linked to US death rate

Not consuming enough daily nutrients is linked to 45 percent of deaths, "Good" foods that we tend to under-consume include nuts, whole grains, and seafood with omega-3 fats. The study suggests "bad" foods like processed meats, sugary drinks, and salty products are over-eaten. The research was based on an analysis of national health surveys asking people about their eating habits.
